SEEING IS STEALING I swing by a rope more in hope than by grand design Spinning a line about declining the sublime Feeling so fine i could touch up the one divine Man in the clouds with an eye on my time Born in a star like some hot clever carbonate Riddled with fears and stiffened by starchy hate I sit on the fence and slowly i vegetate Seeing is stealing and nothing is true The welcome for me, is as welcome for you Push all of the memories down Crush future and stir it around Roll flat with the trunk of a tree Shape bake and send it to... All of the bus queue are dead to me All the poor rich men are fed to me All of the good things are passing me Buy all the matches and remedy I woke up today, it was grey and not happening The postman was late and the post wasn’t anything I took out my knife and see it needs sharpening Seeing is stealing and nothing is true That man...clean hands...big smile...no style Take all your fools and incinerate Take all your schools and incinerate Take out your hearts and incinerate Seeing is stealing and nothing is true

SEEING INFINITY Wondering what the world ahead will bring God will save our souls And bring death to everything Now’s the time Now’s the time to take it in Yesterday has gone And tomorrow’s to begin When it comes. It’s just a sudden thing Takes your breath away Laying there for weeks We can run and dance We can shout and sing We can’t live forever We can’t stay together Heaven’s hope Drinking water with the king This water tastes of salt now Throwing all the fish back in A veil of cloud, of doubt of knowing we can’t win There’s a million suns Only one will let us in. Sacred veil Mysteries of man and tree Liberate them all Or is it only me In the eyes In the eyes of you and me Do I see myself do I see infinity?

PASS THE SALT The wheel on the hospital trolley needs some oil, I fear it’s just not working. I spare myself a smile for another time, when I’m no longer hurting. I thought i heard you call my name. I thought i saw the lights go dim. If i knew that things would be the same. I don’t think that i would feel so grim. The scene in my head isn’t with me anymore, i guess it can’t be real. If i dream when I’m dead then i hope it is of you. Pass the salt, pass the bread, pass the place i hit the ground and scream. The surgeon in the mask didn’t pass his last exam. I don’t want him near me please. And the man in the wig has been playing with himself. I hope they treat me properly. Close the curtain, close the curtain. The light outside is really hurting. I feel so light and I’m getting it for free, though nothing’s free i realise. Nothing is the same when you look the other way. And the doctor takes a look, as they come to carve me up. And they’ll find that I am missing. I was never here at all. The bridge that we were walking, has been broken up and sold. I see you lying in the valley down below. I never thought that it could ever feel so strange. To give my beating heart to people i don’t know. And when the partying has all gone quiet. I think I’ll lie awake and watch the sky. And i the summer when the night’s get light. I see a place marked out for you and I.

THE SKY AIN'T BLUE What’s in the bag that you’re holding it seems quite full Let me look inside for a moment my life’s quite dull Two packs of lies in disguise that I’ve seen before Your enemies are on their knees just behind your door Come away with me come away You’ll see the night is just like the day From a different angle In another way It’s in a dream that you see him and he sees you You both ask for time to be stopped and for something new There’s several myths of the world that just don’t ring true They’ll come alive when you realise the sky ain’t blue Waking up now from your slumber See your tattoo, there’s your number Put it in the system with the rest I can’t look at you cos you can’t look at me now, it’s the law here, no one can be seen here, it’s a test Everything presented every evening to the people to those near me on the TV is a joke Everywhere you look you’ll see a clown you’ll see a crook and they’re writing out your histories in a book. When we go to bed we’ll wake upon a world that’s dead, they said the world would be much better But it’s getting worse for ever Please please, on bended knees, I’ll be good now I swear. Two fat nails through both your wrists and then they’ll leave you there!

The End of a Superhero A home alone I’m really cold A little tired and very old The keys are on the table by the facemask, by the secret book the poisoned hook I take the costume off one final time and lay it down next to the bedside all alone. A final effort come and gone a final cry and now I’m done A city begs in need of further heroes. I tried my best, I wore my vest I more than passed the test and now I fall to earth to be forgotten. The times have changed and rearranged the things we once felt mighty strange The darkness of the end is here upon us bear down on us, no more superhero no more sacrifice, a rest would sure feel super nice, a soft bed where to lay my head, and words of comfort spoke alone before we’re definitely dead. This planet has awoken and has spoken, and it doesn’t want us here. Have I saved my last for best? I know a simple trick or two A sleight of hand an unplanned retroguard attempt to pull on through the substance at the heart of every living thing upon this earth, to form it and expand it and to heal it. It seems to me no prize is greater than the will of that above us to succumb and succumb quietly as we are but enzymes in a greater being ill of us and trying as it might just to survive us. No superhero such as me, no special power no symmetry should try to kill the beast on which we all depend, no truth reason religion nor the hope of steel-like skin, my isolation, lazer eyes , the need to fly, should ever win. I know it sounds at odds with all the battles I have fought and the destruction I have wrought to gain the peace I’ve always sought. Have I saved my last for best?

WAITING FOR A TRAIN Too busy waiting, waiting for a train to My destination my destination Standing in the rain, waiting for a train to My destination my destination Further up the line, running dead on time to My destination my destination Looking at the clock, wishing i could be at My destination my destination Where i’d rather be is where i feel more free But i’m waiting for a train And i’m standing in the rain Where i’d rather go is somewhere that i know But i’m waiting for a train And i stand and wait in vain Too busy singing, thinking i was swimming at My destination my destination There is only me, a river and a tree at My destination my destination Sitting by a lake, feeling like a fake at My destination my destination Longing for my fate, the train is running late to My destination my destination I can’t hold me back now

Summer Song 08:03
Summer Song My eyes are opening, save me an answer I have a song to sing, play me another I end up wondering, waiting and lonely Here comes the sun again Oh no where do i go, where do i go now? I seem to take a step back, take a step back now You see the look on my face, it seems out of place What chance of staying around and building my structure It seems so commonplace, smells fill the air now I think it’s just facade, i get so maudlin Summer is the best of bad, let’s wait for winter Here comes the sun again My eyes are widening Hear my calls and catch my falls And wait to feel me, to be near me Try to steer me, fast and backward Pace the change, to re-arrange The people that i know Softly softly Like an insect, creepy crawly Crushed and Horny

Waiting in the rain I write these words sick of the profanity Screaming bloody rage unleashing my insanity As the storms pass....i sit and i decide As the moon burns....i freeze on the inside As the clock chimes....i’m waiting in the rain Out flow the years dream screams of dreams My sense of sense comes apart at the seams As the clouds burst....i’ve fallen from the sky As the stars die....i see them burning bright As the world turns...i’m waiting in the rain I build myself a little deeper My climb a little steeper I used to hate, the days were great Lying on my back I used to walk instead of running Buried in my sack I write these words sick of the profanity Screaming bloody rage unleashing my insanity As the clouds burst....i’ve fallen from the sky As the stars die....i see them burning bright As the world turns...i’m waiting in the rain
